Maria Christou

Maria began her studies at the University of Reading where she pursued her Bachelor of Laws. She then moved to Manchester and completed a Legal Practice Certificate Course with a Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property at the University of Law.

Her legal journey began at Johnson Law Group where she secured a training contract and qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales in January 2026. She currently works with the Emissions Team focusing and building her experience on group actions and personal injury claims.

At Johnson Law Group, Maria has become a skilled Solicitor with a solid foundation in civil litigation and dispute resolution. She can deal with large volumes of data and currently builds up her practical experience in leading large-scale and high-volume litigation.

Her desire to create a positive and unique influence within the legal profession motivated her to move away from her home country and build her legal career as a foreigner in the United Kingdom.

Maria’s fluency in Greek enables her to provide clear and efficient communication to a targeted group of clients.

Outside of work, Maria loves to bake, travel, and has an interest in fashion.
