Diesel Particulate Filter Claims
Unlock Your Compensation: Jaguar Land Rover Owners, take action now!
Does your Jaguar Land Rover struggle with performance issues? Your Particulate Filter (DPF) might be the culprit. Whether you’ve encountered issues or not, you could be eligible for compensation, claiming up to £16,000 to cover potential increased running costs.
Become part of the multi-million pound group action!
Be part of the movement! The Federal Court of Australia has already ruled in favour of car owners on this issue, finding the impact on consumers, such as time off the road for repairs and loss of vehicle value had adversely impacted buyers. Defects have been exposed in certain models, including faulty DPF systems, leading to on-road safety hazards and performance glitches. Owners may have faced unexpected servicing costs, and in extreme cases, engine replacements.

- Jaguar E-Pace (X450)

- Jaguar XF (X260)

- Land Rover Velar (L560)
What can you claim for?
Reduced Engine Performance: You may have experienced a loss of power or sluggishness due to a blocked DPF.
Poor Fuel Efficiency: Issues with the DPF can cause the engine to have to work harder, leading to an increase in consumption, and thus extra costs.
Warning Lights: If you have a problem with your DPF, the dashboard will usually be the first to notice.
Frequent Regeneration: Problems with your DPF can lead to your car attempting to regenerate the filter more than usual – which in turn leads to an increase in fuel consumption.
Engine Damage: In extreme cases, if your car’s DPF is blocked, this can cause back pressure in the exhaust system which can result in engine damage, which can be a serious expense to the owner.
Forced into ‘Limp Mode’: In some cases, when the DPF issue is severe, some vehicles will go into safety mode (which is also known as ‘limp mode’). When this happens, it can limit the car’s performance to stop any additional damage.
